This policy explains how It’s Design, operated by Linfalk AB, processes personal data when you visit our website, shop, create an account, contact customer service or subscribe to our newsletter.

Personal data we process

Depending on how you use our services, we may process your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, telephone number, customer account, order history, returns, complaints, customer service correspondence, selected payment method, IP address, device and browser information, and data from cookies and similar technologies.

Full payment-card details are processed by the payment provider and are not stored by us.

Purposes and legal bases

• Contract: to accept, process, pay for and deliver orders and to handle returns and complaints.
• Legal obligation: for accounting, tax, consumer protection and other legal requirements.
• Legitimate interests: for customer service, fraud prevention, security and business improvement, balanced against your rights.
• Consent: for newsletters and non-essential cookies used for statistics, analytics and marketing where consent is required.

Recipients and service providers

We share only necessary data with providers that help operate the store, including Starweb, payment providers such as Kustom/Klarna and PayPal, carriers such as DHL, Flodesk for newsletters, and Cookiebot, Google and Microsoft Clarity for consent management, analytics and advertising. We may also disclose data to authorities where required by law.

We never sell personal data.

Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some technology providers may process data outside the EU/EEA. In such cases we use a lawful transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s approved Standard Contractual Clauses, with supplementary safeguards where necessary.

Retention

We retain data only for as long as needed for the purpose or required by law. Order, payment and accounting records are retained for the period required by Swedish law. Returns, complaints and customer service data are retained as needed to handle the matter and possible legal claims. Newsletter data is processed until you unsubscribe. Cookie retention periods appear in the Cookiebot declaration below.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures and restrict access to people who need the data for their work. No internet transmission or electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely risk-free.

Your rights

You may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to processing, receive portable data and withdraw consent. You always have the right to object to direct marketing.

Complaints

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you may complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or the supervisory authority in your country of residence.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies for features such as the basket, login, security and language selection. With your consent, we may also use preference, statistics and marketing cookies. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the website’s cookie settings.

Analytics and advertising

After you consent, we may use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the website is used, and Google Ads and remarketing to measure and personalise advertising. Processing depends on your cookie choices.

Newsletter

When you subscribe, Flodesk uses your email address and the information you provide to send news, inspiration and offers. You can unsubscribe through the link in every marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing does not affect order or service messages.
